Exercise 8:

1. Reduce traffic congestion is one of the most challenging issue of our time. Many
people assumed that they should be supported to live in the urban areas than in the
rural one. However, I personally disagree with this statement.
2. It is true that traffic jam is one of the most persistent problems in our daily life.
This essay will discuss the cause of this issue and suggest some useful measures to
deal with this problem in urban areas.
3. There has been a heated debate over public investment. Some people think that it
should be used for upgrading public transport system while assume for another
categories such as envinronment and cost. Although both perspectives have their
merits, I still believe that government could spent more money on public transit
network.
Homework 2:
1. It is true that governments invest mainly on public transportation in cities. This
essay will examine the reason for this trend and suggest some practical methods to
help deal with this issue.
2. There are an increasing in replacing using owner car with urban transport. This
essay will discuss the problems creating it and the solutions to promote citizens to
use public transit.
3. In the urban areas, traffic jam is one of the most significant issue. To solve this
complication, many people said that the best way was offering public transit
methods without charge all the time. Personally, I hold a different opinion.
4. It is undoubted that congested roads is one of the most irritating problem in our
daily commute. Many people assumed that the authorities should impose high
taxes on individual car owners and use this revenue to upgrade urban transport
system. This essay will discuss both the positive and negative aspect of this
suggestion.
