OBJECTIVE
The objectiveof a Hospital ManagementSystem
(HMS) in Java, incorporatingJDBC, is to develop
an efficient softwaresolutionthat manages
hospital operations like doctor details, patient
records, and appointment booking. Using JDBC,
the system connects to a database to store,
retrieve, and update informationdynamically.
The system allows easy management of doctor
information,such as specialties and availability,
maintains comprehensive patient records
including medical history, and provides a
seamless interface for booking appointments
with doctors. The project aims to enhance data
accuracy, reduce manual processes, and provide
a reliable system for handling hospital
operations.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS
• Integratingadvanced analytics and machine learning algorithmsto
predict patient outcomes, optimize resource allocation, and
improveclinical decision-making.
• Proper Front End UI inclusion
• More Operations —Financial , Management etc.
CHALLENGES AND LESSONS LEARNE
• Data Integration • Java Programming
Integrating data from existing hospital From this project we can leam basic java
systems posed a significant challenge due programming and leam how to create
to variations in data formats and basic classes and programs
structures. To address this, the project
team developed a robust data mapping
and transformation process to ensure
data consistency and accuracy.
