GRADUATION PROJECT
INTRODUCTION:
Egypt has a young and growing population, which means the presence of a large workforce that
qualifies the country for economic growth and social change. On the other hand, it is an indicator
of high unemployment rates and pressure on resources and services.
Therefore, a growing population can be a positive or negative force for change, so it is important
to invest in social development and job creation to ensure everyone's success.
• According to UN sustainable goals, Architectural design should consider achieving three
important goals related to:
1- Human comfort (Social).
2- Reducing resources consumption (Economic).
3- Smart Infrastructure for converting smart cities (Environmental).
The graduation project for an architecture student is considered a mission which is to solve a
specific problem using the language of architectural design and illustrate his experiences in years
of study. This problem must be new and realistic, and its solution must be innovative, creative,
and with a high level of detail (LOD).
This project explores sustainable and adaptive architectural interventions in three distinct
environments: Ras El Hekma, and New Alamein City. Through context-sensitive design, climate
resilience, and socio-economic integration, ensuring sustainable development while respecting
cultural identity.
AIM AND OBJECTIVES
The graduation project aims to achieve all design dimensions, with a focus on the dimensions of
sustainability, which suggest a multi-layered space that attracts the types of (social - economic -
environmental) activities in a Dialogue Spaces and aims to:
1- Make our communities closer together as well as measuring the sociability of all
participants.
2- Dialogue Place can be a valuable resource for anyone who wants to learn, develop their
skills, create, and explore new things.
3- Provides a powerful means of communication, group practice and activities.
4- Create places that are suitable for children.

GRADUATION PROJECT
The idea of a Dialogue Spaces that includes all sectors of Egypt’s development vision 2030 could
be ideal, and provide positive impacts on state, including solving social, economic, and
environmental problems. With consider functional and technical aspects.
So, Dialogue Spaces values reflected on Five important aspects:
Social Aspects
It can help to promote social equality by providing access to technology and resources to all
people, empowering people to solve problems in their communities by providing training lessons
and learning new skills, so the architecture approaches from applicative point that integrates those
thought processes:
1- To understand people’s needs and feelings to provide a suitable response.
2- To enhance the built quality is to make the structure or space socially efficient.
3- Creating a sense of resilience between different user groups.
4- To establish social impact through improved neighborhoods
5- To build bridges between people of varying characters, behaviors, and social class.
Economic Aspects
It can help promote economic development by providing a place for new product and service
development to create jobs by attracting and retaining business and innovation skills found in an
area with high unemployment rates, On the other hand The economic dimensions of development
deal with the use of limited resources. An economically sustainable system enables continuous
output of goods and services, avoiding sectoral inequalities that threaten agriculture and industrial
production, and ensuring sustainability in the effective management of a country's internal and
external debt.
Environmental Aspects
The environmental dimensions imply the balance of biological and physical systems. The aim is
to enable ecosystems to adapt to changing conditions. An environmentally sustainable system
must develop from the exploitation of renewable resource systems or environmental investment
functions, keeping the resource base stable. So, design sustainable, energy efficient and eco-
friendly places using renewable energy resources and recycled building materials is a target.
Functional Aspects
Functionalism is one of the important principles that must be considered when designing a
building to successfully achieve the purpose and functions of the building.

Technical Aspects
Digital technologies help to improve the use of modern building materials, which has affected the
reduction of structural elements of buildings. Some of these elements will also become more
transparent and able to change their properties, and these properties will change to achieve
environmental, technological and climate goals.
The New Ras El Hekma City
"Ras El Hekma: A Sustainable, Eco-Friendly Tourist City—Egypt's North Coast Gateway
to the World."
"The New Ras El Hekma City represents a groundbreaking urban project within the
government's recent urban development initiatives, situated in the Marsa Matrouh
governorate. This project reflects the state's vision to elevate Egypt's global competitiveness
by implementing exemplary architectural and urban models.
The primary motives behind this project are the enchanting natural landscape of the Ras El
Hekma region and its unique beaches, which stand out from the rest of the Marsa Matrouh
coastline. Furthermore, its strategic location makes it a compelling destination for tourism and
investment, ensuring ease of access and seamless connectivity."
• A Strategic Site on the Mediterranean Seashore:
"The new city of Ras El Hekma is located on the western edge of Egypt's North Coast, stretching from the
