Subject: Conversion and downgrading the posts to Economics department

Respected Sir,

With due reverence, it is stated the department of economics of this college has only 3
sanctioned posts. Unfortunately, one sanctioned post (BPS-18) is vacant due to the sad demise of
one of our colleagues. The department has intermediate classes as well as a B.S (four years)
program. At present, there are only two faculty members, while the estimated workload (attached
in detail) on a daily basis during a calendar year will be as follows:

F.A (Gen. Sci)/ICS 4

B.S (4 Semesters) 16

Total 20

So, there is a dire need for at least two more sanctioned posts for a smooth functioning of the
classes. It is requested to downgrade one vacant post (BPS-18) of the economics department into
BPS-17 and convert and downgrade (BPS-18 to BPS-17) one vacant post of the political science
department into the economics department.
