Program Graduation 2026,..
Department of Education
Office of the DEPED Secretary
Sa ating mga mag-aaral, this year was not always easy. May mga araling
mahirap intindihin at mga pagsubok na tila nakakapagod. Yet you stayed
the course and learned to rise after setbacks. That resilience will matter far
beyond the classroom.
Our schools became second homes where friendships were formed and
confidence slowly rebuilt. Hindi lamang kaalaman ang natutunan ninyo, kundi disiplina, malasakit, at tibay
ng loob—mga katangiang huhubog sa inyo bilang mga kabataang handang manguna nang may kakayahan
at mabuting pagkatao.
Behind every learner's success stands a community. To our teachers, thank you for teaching not only les-
sons but courage. To our parents and families, your support made every achievement possible. Education
is truly a shared responsibility.
This year, we continued strengthening the foundations of basic education—from sharpening the Revised
K to 10 Curriculum and expanding Senior High School pathways, to sustaining programs that help learners
recover essential skills and better supporting our teachers. Under the leadership of President Ferdinand R.
Marcos Jr., we remain committed to building an education system that prepares Filipino learners for the
future.
As we celebrate the End-of-School-Year rites, we are reminded of the aspiration that guides our efforts
this year: "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character." This reflects the kind
of learners we strive to nurture—young Filipinos who are not only academically prepared, but also guided
by integrity, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility to serve others.
To our learners moving forward, especially our graduates, this is only the beginning. Dalhin ninyo ang
sipag, disiplina, at malasakit na hinubog sa inyo. Knowledge will open doors, but character will define your
path.
We are proud of you. We believe in you. And we will continue building a stronger future for every Filipino
learner.
SONNY ANGARA
DepEd Secretary
Republic of the Philippines
Department of Education
Office of the Regional Director
Your achievement today is the result of your hard work, discipline, and
determination. It is also a testament to the unwavering dedication of
your teachers, the steadfast support of your parents and families, and
the strong collaboration of our schools, communities, and partners
who continue to believe in your potential.
As a graduate, you are now called to lead with wisdom, integrity, empathy, and courage. The
world you are entering is complex and ever‑changing, and it demands individuals who can
think critically, adapt quickly, innovate boldly, and uphold what is right even when it is difficult.
Carry with you the competence you have built and the character that anchors your decisions.
May you use your education not only to pursue your dreams but also to uplift your communities
and contribute meaningfully to the progress of our region and our nation. Lead with purpose.
Serve with humility. And remain steadfast in your commitment to lifelong learning.
To all our graduates and completers: stand proud. You have reached this moment with honor.
Now step forward with confidence and continue becoming the best person you can be.
Padayon, Caraga learners. Congratulations, and may God bless your journey ahead. 26.
This year’s theme, Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character, reflects the
heart of our mission in DepEd Caraga.
Your journey from the first day of classes to this milestone has shaped not only your skills and
intellect but also your values, resilience, and sense of responsibility.
Today, the Schools Division of Surigao del Sur proudly joins our schools and com-
munities in celebrating the triumphs, achievements, and milestones of our com-
pleters and graduates for SY 2025-26.
We honor not only your academic accomplishments but also the persever-
ance, hard work, and resilience that have carried you to this moment. As you
stand at this threshold, countless opportunities await you: the dreams of your
families, the hopes of your schools and communities, and most importantly, the
promise of a brighter future that you will help shape for our nation.
This year’s theme, “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence,”
carries a powerful message. Our graduates today are not merely completing a lev-
el of education. You are stepping into the wider world equipped with knowledge,
skills, and values that empower you to lead, to serve, and to make meaningful contributions to your communities
and to our country.
As Filipino graduates, you carry not only the knowledge gained in school but also the enduring values that
define our people—integrity, resilience, compassion, and a deep sense of service. These will guide you when chal-
lenges arise, and your character is tested. Remember that true leadership is not measured by power or position,
but by the willingness to uplift others and serve the greater good. It is about standing for what is right, acting with
integrity, and using your abilities to create opportunities not only for yourselves but also for others.
Your journey, however, was never walked alone. Behind every graduate stands a community of people who
nurtured, guided, and supported you every step of the way. To our teachers, thank you for your unwavering dedi-
cation to shaping not only our learners' minds but also their character.
To our school heads and education leaders, your leadership ensured that our schools remained spaces
where learning flourishes, where dreams are nurtured, and where young minds are inspired to reach their fullest
potential. To the parents and guardians, today is also your moment of pride. Your sacrifices, encouragement, and
steadfast support have been essential to your children’s success.
To our partners and members of the wider community, your collaboration reminds us that education
thrives when everyone works together in nurturing the next generation.
Graduates and completers, as you move forward to the next chapter of your lives, remain grounded in your
identity as Filipinos. Our nation needs young leaders who are not only competent but also compassionate and
deeply committed to the welfare of our people. Use your education to address real challenges in society—to uplift
communities, promote justice, protect the environment, and contribute to sustainable development.
Once again, congratulations to all our completers and graduates. May you continue to dream, to strive, and
to serve.
For the successful School Year 2025-2026, to GOD be all the Glory and Honor.
This year’s theme, “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Char-
acter (Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang may Kakayahan at
Mabuting Pagkatao),” reminds us that true leadership goes beyond knowledge and
skills. Competence equips you with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and
innovate in a constantly changing world. But equally important is character—the values that guide your decisions, your in-
tegrity, compassion, respect for others, and commitment to serve the community.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 22:1, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than sil-
ver or gold.” This verse teaches us that character and integrity are among the most valuable treasures we can possess. As
you pursue success and excellence, always remember that your values and your reputation will define the kind of leader
you will become.
As graduates, you are called not only to succeed for yourselves but also to contribute meaningfully to our nation. Our coun-
try needs leaders who are capable, responsible, and grounded in strong moral principles. Wherever life takes you, carry
with you the lessons you have learned and the values that have shaped you. Remember that your education is not only an
achievement but also a responsibility. Use your knowledge to uplift others, serve with humility, and lead with courage and
integrity. Though challenges may arise, believe in yourselves and continue to learn, grow, and strive for excellence. Let your
competence open doors, and let your character inspire others. Bear in mind that leadership does not always mean holding
the highest position. Leadership can be seen in small but powerful acts: choosing honesty over convenience, helping others
rise, standing up for what is right, and using your talents for the greater good. These are the marks of a true Filipino leader.
To the parents, guardians and benefactors, your unwavering support, sacrifices, and encouragement have been vital in the
success of our graduates. Your guidance has nurtured them not only academically but also morally and emotionally. This
achievement is as much yours as it is theirs. Thank you for being their first teachers and lifelong supporters.
To the teachers and school personnel, your dedication, patience, and passion
for education have helped shape the minds and hearts of these young individuals. You have guided them through lessons in
knowledge and in life. Your role in molding competent and principled graduates cannot be overstated.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! May you go forth with confidence, lead with
competence and character, and make a meaningful difference in the world. May God continue to guide your journey and
bless your future.
