strategy
There are several market categories that may be created. The four primary ways of market
segmentation are listed below. You may also build more specialised segments within the kinds listed
below.

Demographic Segmentation
One such form is demographic segmentation. It's a way of segmenting audiences based on visual
differences. These include age, gender, marital status, family size, occupation, education, income,
race, nationality, and religion. The most basic market segmentation is demography. Combining
demographic and other segmentation approaches may help you narrow your market even more.
This kind of segmentation has the benefit of being simple and cheap to obtain. Zara is intended for
ladies aged 18 to 45. Adult female customers who buy alone in a store. Customers are well-educated
and well-off. Middle-class clients.

Behavioural Segmentation
You may also categorise your market by customer behaviour. You may adapt your message to select
parts of your audience based on their activities. Your product, website, app, or brand may be tied to
many of the behaviours you may investigate. They buy things in small quantities and wait for fresh
trends to hit the shelves. Many individuals purchase new clothes often to keep up with the newest
trends. Targets Generation Z, a tech-savvy generation that can afford internet shopping.

Geographic Segmentation
Geographic segmentation is a simple and effective segmentation approach. If you know a customer's
location, you may advertise to them specifically. A country's geography may be divided in several
ways. The most basic method to identify a person is by their location. Customers may also be
identified based on their location, climate, or population density. Because a single county may have
rural, suburban, and urban regions, various qualities may be required. Most companies in towns and
cities cater to locals. Has a global internet shop for customers. One of its storefronts is on New York's
Fifth Avenue, the world's most famous fashion strip.

Psychographic Segmentation
Psychographic segmentation, like demographic segmentation, separates individuals based on their
mental and emotional traits. While these attributes may not be as obvious as those of your target
audience, they may give valuable insight into their motivations, preferences, and content demands.
Knowing your audience's values can help you develop better content for them. Hobbies, values,
attitudes, and manner of life are examples of psychographic qualities. ability to stay up with trends
