5. CONTEXT AND NEED STATEMENT
Uganda faces significant social and economic challenges that directly affect the body of Christ:
5.1 Economic Challenges
High youth unemployment
Limited business mentorship and entrepreneurial training
Low financial literacy across rural communities
Small businesses collapsing due to inadequate knowledge, planning, and support
5.2 Family and Social Struggles
Men struggling with identity, responsibility, and provision
High levels of poverty-related family breakdown
Cultural pressures and gender-based violence
Lack of mentorship for young people
5.3 Spiritual Needs
Many churches lack trained leaders able to connect faith with practical living
Believers struggle to balance spirituality with work, productivity, and stewardship
Church members need models of godly entrepreneurship
5.4 Why IAFM Seeks Partnership With FDE
IAFM believes the future of the church requires empowered believers who understand that:

A partnership with Faith Driven Entrepreneur will help IAFM scale programs that equip believers to
start, grow, and sustain faith-driven businesses.
6. PROJECT GOAL
To equip 1,500 men, women, and youth within IAFM Uganda to develop faith-driven business
mindsets, acquire entrepreneurial skills, and launch sustainable income-generating activities over a
period of 12–18 months.
7. OBJECTIVES
Train church leaders in faith-driven entrepreneurship and kingdom stewardship.
Conduct regional entrepreneurship workshops for men, youth, and women.
Provide mentorship and coaching for start-ups and small businesses.
Establish Faith-Driven Bus
