(Republic Day)
INTRODUCTION
Anchor:
Good morning to our respected Chief Guest ________________________, honoured dignitaries, worthy
Principal Ma’am, respected teachers, and my dear students.
Today, we have gathered here to celebrate 26th January – the Republic Day of India, a day that stands as a
symbol of democracy, dignity, and the power of the people.
On this proud morning of 26th January, we come together not merely to celebrate a date on the calendar, but
to honour the day when India truly became a republic. On this historic day in 1950, our Constitution came
into force, transforming India into a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic nation.
The Constitution of India is not just a book of laws—it is the soul of our nation. It grants us fundamental
rights, ensures justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, and reminds us of our fundamental duties as
responsible citizens.

To seek her divine blessings and to begin our Republic Day programme on a sacred note, I request all are
respected dignitaries to com on the stage for Lamp Lighting Ceremony.
May the light of knowledge remove the darkness of ignorance and guide us towards truth, wisdom, and
righteous living, just as our Constitution guides our nation.
🚩 5. Proceeding Towards Flag Hoisting & March Past
We now move towards the most solemn and proud moment of today’s Republic Day celebration—the Flag
Hoisting Ceremony, followed by the March Past.
As the Tricolour rises high, may our hearts fill with pride, gratitude, and responsibility. Let us remember that
the flag we salute today flies high because of the sacrifices of our heroes and the strength of our
Constitution.
This moment reminds us of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters and soldiers who gave us the
privilege to live in a free and democratic India.
May I request everyone to kindly stand for the National Anthem.
