Procedures and Requirements for Sponsoring a Foreign Employee
1- Position Authorization:
The employer must obtain authorization from the relevant labor authority confirming the need to hire a foreign worker
for the specified position.
2- Immigration Lawyer and Legal Preparation:
An immigration lawyer or authorized legal professional prepares the employment contract and the complete legal file
for the application.
This includes professional legal fees for drafting the employment contract, ensuring compliance with labor regulations,
and preparing the sponsorship documentation.
3- Employment Contract Preparation:
A formal employment contract must be prepared and signed, clearly stating the job title, duties, salary, working hours,
benefits, contract duration, and termination conditions.
4- Accommodation Requirement:
The employer must provide proof of accommodation during the application process, either through employer-provided
housing or a valid housing contract for the employee.
5- Health Insurance Coverage:
The employer must arrange valid health insurance coverage for the employee in accordance with immigration and labor requirements.
6- Government, Immigration, and Associated Costs:
The employer is responsible for covering all costs related to the process, including:
- Work permit application fees
- Immigration processing and administrative fees
- Residence and registration fees
- Immigration lawyer professional fees for preparing and submitting the application
- Health insurance costs for the employee
- Accommodation or housing expenses required for the application
7- Work Permit Application:
The employer submits the complete application file to the competent authorities in order to obtain the official work permit for the foreign
employee.
8- Entry Visa Application:
After the work permit approval, the employer proceeds with the work visa application through the relevant embassy or consulate.
9- Airport Reception:
Upon arrival, the employer arranges airport pickup and reception for the employee.
10- Arrival and Residence Registration:
After entering the country, the employer must complete the required procedures including residence permit issuance, tax registration,
and social security enrollment.
11- Ongoing Employer Obligations:
The employer must maintain compliance with labor and immigration regulations, including salary payments, insurance coverage,
accommodation arrangements, and renewal of permits when required.
