BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) TRAINING MODULE

I. Overview
This training equips participants with essential life-saving skills such as CPR, AED use, and first
aid.

Module 1: Introduction to BLS


Importance of BLS, Chain of Survival, Legal considerations

Module 2: Scene Safety & Assessment


Check danger, responsiveness, call emergency services (911)

Module 3: CPR
Compression rate: 100–120/min, Ratio: 30:2

Module 4: AED Use


Turn on AED, attach pads, follow prompts

Module 5: Choking Management


Perform abdominal thrusts for conscious victims

Module 6: Basic First Aid


Bleeding control, shock management, recovery position
