Subject: Request for help with obtaining approval for installation of a lift in residential
tower

Respected Sir/Madam,

We, residents of houses A-16, A-15, A-14 and A-13, located at Rashmi Apartments Housing
Society, Pitampura, Delhi, request your assistance in obtaining approval for the installation of
a lift in our residential building.

Our building currently does not have lift access, and this has become a serious concern for
several residents. A number of occupants are senior citizens, and daily movement through
multiple floors has become physically challenging and unsafe for them. One resident is
undergoing regular dialysis treatment and must frequently travel for medical care, while another
resident is undergoing knee replacement treatment, making it extremely difficult to climb stairs.

The installation of a lift is therefore not merely a convenience but a medical and accessibility
necessity. It will significantly improve safety, mobility, and quality of life for elderly and medically
vulnerable residents. The residents are fully committed to complying with all municipal safety,
structural, and regulatory requirements, and the cost of installation will be borne collectively by
the residents.

We humbly request your support and guidance so the required approvals can be processed at
the earliest possible time.

We would be grateful for an opportunity to provide any additional documentation, structural


reports, or permissions required from our side.
