1.0 Aim of the microproject:
This microproject aims to enhance understanding and implementation of fundamental
assembly language concepts, particularly sign division and string comparison. By
focusing on these topics, the project enables students to strengthen their low-level
programming skills, improve debugging techniques, and develop optimized solutions for
arithmetic and text processing tasks. The benefits include hands-on experience with
TASM, better algorithmic thinking, and preparation for real-world embedded systems
and performance-critical applications.

Title: Implementation and Testing on Notes app
1.0 Rationale:
In today’s fast-paced digital environment, users require an efficient and secure platform to
store and manage their notes systematically. Many basic note applications lack advanced
organization and security features. The Smart Notes Management Website is developed to
overcome these limitations by providing structured categorization, labeling options, and
enhanced privacy features such as password and biometric authentication. This project helps
in understanding modern web application development along with data security and user
management concepts.

2.0 Aims/Benefits of the Micro-Project:

Summary Email field is case-sensitive and prevents login when user
enters correct email in different letter case.
Description While executing login test scenarios, it was observed that if the
user enters a valid registered email address in a different letter
case (for example, using uppercase letters), the system does not
allow login even though the credentials are correct. For
example, if the registered email is:
arshimhssp@[Link]
and the user enters:
ArshiMhssp@[Link]
the application displays an "Incorrect email" message and
blocks access.
This defect was not detected earlier because previous test cases
used the exact lowercase email format stored in the system.

Steps to Replicate 1. Open the Login page of the Notes App.

2. Click inside the Email textbox.
3. Enter the registered email in mixed/uppercase format
Example: ArshiMhssp@[Link]
4. Enter the correct username and password.
5. Click on the Login button.

Actual Result Login fails and the system displays "Incorrect email" even
though the email belongs to a valid registered user.
Expected Results The application should treat email addresses as case-insensitive
and allow login.
