fulfillment of our requirement for the Nursing Research II, our group is conducting entitled
“EXTENT OF BLENDED EDUCATION AND CLINICAL PRACTICE OF STUDENT
NURSES (DESCRIPTIVE CORRELATIONAL QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH)”.
We are to give you information and inviting you to be part of this research. You can take
your time to decide whether you will or not participate in this research. You can approach any of
the researchers that you know or feel comfortable to ask for clarifications on words or the
concepts that you find hard to understand and any information that you want to know about our
research.
The 3rd year batch 2024-2025 were the last batch of nursing students to ever experienced
blended learning before the school decided to gradually switch back to the normal education
approach which is full a face-to-face class. Thus, the purpose of this research aims to know the
relationship of blended education helped on the clinical practice of the student nurses. This
research also aims to understand how these educational methods impact the clinical skills,
knowledge, and overall performance of student nurses.
This research will involve your participation because you were one of the student nurses
who were able to experience the blended education. Your participation in this research is entirely
in accordance to your will. If you agree to participate in this study, the researchers will directly
give you the survey questionnaires. The researchers expect that you will answer the survey
honestly based on your overall experience, both positively and negatively. The researchers make
sure that your identity will be kept private and anonymous. The gathered survey responses will
be seen by the researchers only for data interpretation.
This study has may no direct benefit to you for participating in this study, but your
involvement will contribute a better understanding and quality improvement in nursing
programs. In addition, it would benefit the school for any challenging situations that may arise in
the future. The outcome of this study may also contribute in assessing the student preference in
what educational method that is convenient and may effectively enhance their performance both
in academic and clinical practice.
