1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

•I am Anganile Pinifolo,Raised in a family with 3 siblings, a holder of a

Diploma in Hospitality management, am a hard-working and driven

individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my

work and I know how to get the job done. I would describe myself as an

open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other

people and tries to be fair in everything I do..

2. How did you come up with this idea of venturing into modeling?

•Being somebody who was isolated most of the times, i developed a

liking for fashion magazines,Dance / ballet postures, street style and

Architecture.

3. It’s Very tough for some parents to accept their girls to venture into

Modeling How did you & Your Parents welcome this call?

•Every family has it's ups and downs, it was a decision i made when

they less cared about my well being or my survival. So, they had to

make peace with it.

4. What is your greatest strength as a professional?

•Adaptability and Versatility

•Professionalism and Discipline


•High self confidence

•Resilience and Mental toughness

•Self Marketing

5. What are your career goals over the next five years?

•Building a proffessional Portfolio

•Securing representation with a reputable agency

•Develop personal brand

6. What experience do you have in modeling?

•Spending my time behind the closed doors gave me all the time I

need to practice; my posing, movements, and the Runway walk.

7. Do you have any previous work experience that informs your

modeling?

• Locally i haven't really worked for exposure, but for my passion of

fashion and creativity..Internationally yes, I worked with a South

African upcoming designer and photographers.

8. What brands have you worked with in the past & Now?

•I have worked with a South Africa designer " Nao serati",The brand

focuses on storytelling, using fashion to explore modern African

identity and youth culture.

9. How have you collaborated with photographers and creative directors

in the past?

•As A beginner freelance model, I started with Trade for print, so it has

been very easy for me to acquire the experience and exposure I


needed, because my passion and love for fashion let's me accept

voluntary gigs.

10. Do you have any education or training that informs your

modeling practice?

•I never had the opportunity to go to school to become a model, with

the availability of Technology and the intensity of my passion, I

trained using Tv programs especially on Fashion TV and YouTube

Channels, and some polishing up of flaws from my fellow models.

11. What limitations do you have on photo shoots or fashion shows?

•Me and limitations don't go along when it comes to my working

environments, I love delivering to my fullest potential.

12. What do you know about the fashion advertising industry?

•Model roles go beyond just looking good; they are active, professional

brand ambassadors, acting as the bridge between a designer’s vision

and consumer purchasing behavior. Success requires a blend of artistic

posing, high professionalism, and a solid understanding of how to

communicate brand identity.

13. Would you consider yourself as a creative individual? How/why?

•I am not just a model that follows orders, i am a person that believes

creativity is a way to go for authenticity. Apart from modelling, I am a;

Hairstylist, Nail Technician, Bead weaver, song writer and upcoming

fashion designer and tailor.

14. What inspires you as a model?


•I have always been inspired by; •The "silent film" Era, • High Art and

Sculpture, • Nature and Movement, •Cultural story telling

15. How do you handle rejection as a model?

•Rejection barely affects me because of my background, I always keep

two phrases at heart;

•what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

•A blessing delayed isn't a blessing denied.

16. What challenges have you faced in modeling?

• Financial instability( Debt cycle, delayed payments, hidden costs)

•The Toll of "The look"(Physical exhaustion, Environmental strain, Body

standard paradox)

•Mental and emotional Resilience (constant Rejection, isolation)

•The "shelf life" anxiety

•Safety and exploitation(Vetting scams, workplace boundaries, social

media pressure)

17. Who is your favorite fashion designer?

• I have always admired how wild LILY ALFONSO'S mind works when it

comes to designing.

18. What advice do you have to those upcoming Models or those that want

to venture into modeling in the future?

•Don't wait to get an agency to manage you

•Master the Natural look

•Treat every "Go see' Like a job interview.


•Diversify your skills,know your industry, prioritize your safety

•The "Thick skin" Rule [Rejection is Redirection]
