● The pie chart and table illustrate the percentage of nursing

graduates in different destinations and the proportions of nursing


graduates working in the health sector in the UK in 2009.
● It can be noticeable that, in the pie chart, the number percentage
of nurses working in the health sector was recorded as the highest
figure, while the opposite trend was true for the figure of further
study. Besides, in the table, the figure for hospital nurses was the
highest figure, whilst the figure for mental nurses was the lowest
figure over the period.
● Regarding the pie chart, a vast majority of nursing graduates
worked in the health sector at 84%, which was the highest figure in
2009. Besides, the percentage of nurses working and studying
accounted for 8% which was two times higher than the number
proportion of unemployed graduates who were reported to be
unemployed in 2009 ( at 4%). The percentages of nurses who
chose to study further and worked in other destinations were only
the same percentage (at 2%).
● In terms of/ Moving to the table, the figure of graduates employed
in the hospital was registered as the highest figure at 72.9%, while
the corresponding figure for mental nurses was the lowest figure at
0.4% in 2009. Meanwhile, the ratios of those in midwives and
communities were 12.4% and 10.3% respectively over the period.
Besides the percentages for nurses working in paramedic and
other were under 3%.
