IMAGING MODULE

● The Imaging Module serves as a digital repository for scanning and saving
various images, radiographs, forms, and letters that are typically kept in a
physical chart.
● When capturing forms or images, they are stored as basic JPG or TIFF files.
Moreover, you also have the option to import various other file formats, such as
Word, PDF, and Excel.

IMAGING TOOLBAR

Print: Launches the Select Printer window, allowing you to print the chosen image. The
image will be automatically adjusted to fit the printed page. This option is not available
for PDFs.

Delete: Removes the chosen image.

Info: Present details about the image, including its category, name, date, type, and a
description.

Sign: Access the Signature window to add or modify notes on the chosen image and to
apply your electronic signature. Electronic signatures are accepted. After saving notes
or a signature, they will be displayed in the bottom-left corner of the image preview.

Scan document: Use a connected flatbed scanner to scan a single-page document and
save it as a JPEG file. The file type is automatically identified as a document.

Scan Multi-Page Document: Scan a multi-page document into a PDF format using a connected
scanner equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF). The file type will be automatically
set to document.

Scan Radiograph: To scan a radiograph, use a connected flatbed scanner. The default
pixel windowing settings from Imaging Setup will be applied. The scanner will
automatically recognize the image as a Radiograph type. The scanned radiograph will
be saved in JPEG format. For further information, refer to the section on Enhancing
Radiograph Images.

Scan Photo: Scan an image as a JPEG using a connected flatbed scanner, with the
photo format being automatically chosen as the File Type.
Acquire: Click to take an image using an imaging device.

Import: Upload an existing file from your computer or network.

Export: Transfer a file to a different location on your computer or network.

Copy: Copy the chosen image to the clipboard. This feature is not compatible with
PDFs.

Paste: Insert files or images from the clipboard into the chosen mount location or image
directory.

Video: Click to access the Video Capture window. Utilize the live feed to capture images
and intraoral photographs.

Forms: Templates are commonly used image or PDF files that can be easily stored for a
patient.
● Select the dropdown menu to see the list of forms available.
● After saving the form, you can add notes, provide an electronic signature, or print
the image.
Mount: A mount is a collection of various images or radiographs that can be examined
together.
