In the past, people stored knowledge in books.
Nowadays, people store knowledge on the
Internet. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
Most of people in the world use the Internet from different devices to serve different
purposes: chatting, watching apps,… and one of them is storing knowledge. Despite of its
benefits, it contains a lot of drawbacks.
On the one hand, Internet provides convenience. For instance, people can use electronics to
type every problem in the Internet and press ‘Enter’. It appears thousands of websites for
people to investigate and solve complex problems intead of going library to find a amount of
books. Moreover, sometimes books in the library are old fashioned, it makes letters
become fade compare to the Internet where people can change size of the letters to read
them easily. Another advantage is people can access to the Internet everywhere they
stayed. For example, with people far away from the library or have a broken leg, they can
use their device to search infromation they need in the Internet.
On the other hand, Internet contains lots of drawbacks that we actually don’t know. For
example, Internet requires wifi to activate its potential but once people get a blackout, all
the electronics become useless. So that, people unable to search information. Another
disadvantage is when people sticked their eyes to the screen for a long time,they got their
eyes hurt and feel dizzy after long time on screen. Furthermore ,when children searched on
compiter, they secretly played video games on that without parent’s notice or clicked to the
scamming websites by chance. Not only weaken people’s health but also make childern
addicted to electronics.
In conclusion, Internet is a tool that has a majority of benefits we can explore but it contains
no less cons if we don’t use it correctly. By that, people must arrange the time using Internet
properly and limit the time using eletronics.

some disadvantages, I believe that its advantages outweigh the drawbacks.
On the one hand, the Internet offers great convenience. People can simply type their
questions on the Internet and instantly access thousands of websites instead of going to the
library to search through a large number of books. Moreover, many books in libraries are old-
fashioned, with faded letters that are difficult to read, while online materials allow users to
adjust font size for better readability. Another major advantage is accessibility. People can
access the Internet wherever they are, which is especially beneficial for those who live far
from libraries or have physical difficulties, such as injuries, that prevent them from travelling.
On the other hand, the Internet also has several disadvantages. It requires Wi-Fi or electricity
to function, so during power cuts, electronic devices become useless and people are unable to
search for information. In addition, prolonged screen time can cause eye strain and dizziness.
Furthermore, when children use computers for studying, they may secretly play video games
or accidentally click on scam websites without their parents’ knowledge. This not only harms
their health but also increases the risk of addiction to electronic devices.
In conclusion, while the Internet has certain disadvantages, it provides far more benefits in
terms of convenience, accessibility, and efficiency. Therefore, people should use the Internet
responsibly by managing their time properly and limiting excessive use of electronic devices.
