HOMEWORK

The table below gives information about


rail transport in four countries in 2007.
In detail, in food/ drinks/ tobacco and Leisure/education Turkish consumers
allocated just below a third and 4.35 % of their overall budget respectively. While
Irish people were the second highest spenders in food/drinks/ tobacco with
roughly 29 %, in leisure/education they accounted for one of the least expenders
with just 2.21%, whereas in clothing/footwear both countries` nations allotted
almost similar rate of their total budget which ranged between 6 and 7 percent.

The given table provides data regarding the expenditure of Irish, Italian,
Spanish, Swedish and Turkish people on particular categories in 2002.
Overall, an inspection of the given table reveals that while food/drinks/
tobacco accounted for the highest budget allocation among consumers,
Leisure/ education was the least appealing item for the given nations.
Although both in food/drinks/tobacco as well as leisure/education
Turkish people were the highest spenders, in clothing/footwear Italians
stood at the first place in terms of consumer expense.

Homework
The table below shows the number of visitors in the UK and their average
spending from 2003 to 2008.

In detail, the number of visits to the UK in 2003 was 24.715 million, which recorded a consistent growth
until 2007 by reaching its highest figure of 32.778 million, before decreasing slightly to 31.88 million in
2008.
