Many people dont know about how important speech acts are, actually English students dont recognize them easily. Lets see what they know about it. Amy: What do you know about speech acts? Sergio: I know there are three types of speech acts, Locutionary , illocutionary, perlocutionary. Speech acts are groups of utterances that have a simple interactional function. Lets watch a typical situation in which speech acts are involved.
