An Innocuous Sin

As a man, there wasn’t much Greg was lacking. A chiseled torso, a sharp jawline, good
looks and a bustling social life, all were his to claim. As a prominent member of his local
tennis club, he was not lacking in romantic invites, due to which he had garnered quite a

a haunting sense of self-awareness, being fully aware of the path he was on and where it
ended, but being fully powerless to stop it. He feared the societal judgement him and his
family would face if he decided honesty was the way, but was equally terrified of the fate
that awaited him if he did otherwise. And so, stuck between a rock and a hard place, he
chose neither and adopted the policy of blissful ignorance, convincing himself that his
lust would pass and that “it was just a phase”. But, as expected, this did not ensure
complete abatement of his pent-up emotions, which regularly flared up and manifested
itself in the form of bullying. Particularly, bullying of a kid
