Dear Mary,

How are you? How have you and your family been? Many thanks for your last letter. It is great
to hear from you again. I am sorry that I haven't written for such a long time because I've
been really busy studying English to pass the VSTEP exam. I hope you and your family are
well.

I am writing to say thank you very much for sending me a lot of photos that we took in Da Lat. I
really like them! They remind me of the great time we spent together. As you know, we visited
many breathtaking places there and those memories are still fresh in my mind.

However, I had a bit of a problem at Tan Son Nhat Airport on the way home. My flight was
delayed for five hours, so I had to wait there for an eternity. I felt extremely tired and stressed
out, but luckily, I finally got home safely in the end.

Regarding your suggestion for the next trip, I know you want to come in Spring, but I'm afraid I
have to spend some weeks at my grandparents' house then. Why don't we meet this summer
instead? I will have a long summer vacation, so we can visit many famous places in Ho Chi Minh
City, such as the Independence Palace or the Central Post Office. We can also enjoy some
delicious local food together.

Anyway, I’m going to get on with my work now. Give my love to your family. We should try to
meet up soon. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best,

[Your Name]
