Hello!
I’m here with the beloved Chicken Run characters Ginger,
Molly, and Rocky. The Chicken Run patterns are suitable for
intermediate-level amigurumi makers. There is no video support
included. If you have any questions, you can contact me via my

Important Reminder: The Chicken Run patterns are paid patterns and
for personal use only. Finished toys may be sold, however the pattern

Rocky, start crocheting.(Only for the fingers, slightly pull and stretch the yarn to make
it thinner.)
Long Finger (make 2)
1. 6sc into MR

LEG (make 2) (Same for all three characters)
Start with a 2.00 mm crochet hook and mustard-colored yarn.
Toes (make 3)
1. 6sc into MR
2-4. 6sc (3 rounds)
Cut the yarn after the first two toes. Do not cut the yarn on the last toe;
continue by joining the other toes.
5. Join the middle toe: 3sc, join the last toe: 6sc, from the opposite side of
the middle toe: 3sc, from the first toe: 6sc = 18sc (place a stitch marker)
6. 18sc
7. 3ch, skip 3sc, (1sc, 1dec)*5 = 10sc
8. 3sc over the 3ch, 5dec = 8sc
9-10. 8sc (2 rounds)
* Make a sl st, cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail, and close by pulling the FLO
stitches together with a needle.
* Stuff the side toes and the back heel area with fiberfill. Do not stuff the
middle toe.
* Attach the yarn to the space left by the ch 3 and continue crocheting the
leg.
11. On the opposite side of the ch 3: 3sc, 1sc at the join, 3sc on the front of

Finish with a sl st and fasten [Link] approximately 20 cm of wire toward
the middle toe.
* Determine the inner joining point of the legs. Attach orange yarn to the
joining point of the right leg. Ch 8 and join to the joining point of the left
leg(the back of the legs facing you).(For Molly: ch 6 between the legs.)
GİNGER BODY
Using a 2.00 mm crochet hook and orange yarn, continue crocheting.
1. 8inc on the left leg, 8sc on the center chain, 8inc on the right leg, 8sc on the
opposite side of the center chain= 48sc (place a stitch marker — the marker
should be at the back of the body)

* Using brown and mustard yarn, embroider the thigh areas and the
feather details on the shoulders as shown in the reference photo.
Eye (Same for all three characters)
Lightly stretch the white yarn and crochet with a 1.75 mm hook
1. 6sc into MR (Do not fully close the magic ring so the eye can be inserted.)
2. 6inc = 12sc Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail.
Insert the 6 mm safety eye and gently flatten the bottom part using heat.
Embroider around the safety eye with green yarn as shown in the photo.
(For Molly, embroider blue; for Rocky, brown.)
Lightly stuff with fiberfill and sew onto the head as shown.
Mouth (Same for all three characters)
Using mustard yarn and a 2.00 mm hook
1. Ch25, join with the first chain to form a ring. Crochet 25sc into the ring.
2–3. 25sc (2 rounds)
Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail. Fold in half and sew onto the head at the
mouth increase area, positioning it in a smiling shape as shown.
Beak (Same for all three characters)
Using mustard yarn and a 2.00 mm hook:
1. 6sc into MR
2. 6sc
3. (1sc, 1inc)*3 = 9sc
4. (2sc, 1inc)*3 = 12sc
5. (3sc, 1inc)*3 = 15sc
6. 15sc
Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail. Shape into a triangular beak by hand and
lightly stuff with fiberfill. Sew onto the face as shown:
The flat bottom edge of the beak should sit on top of the upper lip. The pointed
top should align 2 rounds above the mouth.
Ginger – Hair (make 2)
Using red yarn and a 2.00 mm hook
1. 6sc into MR
2-5. 6sc (4 rounds)
Cut the yarn leaving a
sewing tail. Sew onto the
center top of the head.
Ginger – Hat
Using green yarn and a 2.00 mm crochet hook.
1. 6sc into MR
2. 6inc = 12sc
3. (1sc, 1inc)*6 = 18sc
4. (2sc, 1inc)*6 = 24sc
5. (3sc, 1inc)*6 = 30sc
6-10. 30sc (5 rounds)
Cut the yarn leaving a sewing [Link] the tip of the hat backward, sew it
in place, and secure the hat onto the head.
*Ch 8 and make 1sc into the first chain. Twice, ch 7 and make 1 into the
same spot. Sew this piece to the center back of the hat.
Ginger – Scarf
Using cream-colored yarn and a 2.00 mm crochet hook.
1. Ch 4, join with the first chain to form a ring.
2. Ch 3, 1sc into the ring, ch 2, 1sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.
(Throughout the scarf, work the single crochets into the chain spaces created in
the previous row.)
3. 1sc, ch 2, 1sc into the next space, ch 3,1 sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.
4. 1sc, (ch 2, 1sc)*2, ch 3, 1sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.
5. 1sc, (ch 2, 1sc)*3, ch 3, 1sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.
6. 1sc, (ch 2, 1sc)*4, ch 3, 1sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.
7. 1sc, (ch 2, 1sc)*5, ch 3, 1sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.
8. 1sc, (ch 2, 1sc)*6, ch 3, 1sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.

starting from the 5th chain from the hook:

*Continue along the long top edge of the scarf with(ch 2, 1sc)*11
* Ch 17 and make the other bow end in the same way.
* Using blue yarn, work (ch 2, 1sc) all around the edge of the scarf.
* Using orange yarn, embroider dotted details on the scarf as shown in the
photo.
* Using cream yarn, ch 10 and starting from the 3rd chain from the hook,
make 8hdc. Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail. Join the two ends of the scarf
and secure this piece in the center like a knot.
Ginger – Tail
Using orange yarn and a 2.00 mm crochet hook.
1. 6sc into MR,3 sc over ch 4, 3sc into the sc made into the magic ring, 3sc over
ch 4, 3sc on the opposite side of the sc made into the magic ring, 3sc opposite
the first ch-4, 3sc over ch 4, 6sc, 3sc opposite the second ch-4, 9sc, 3sc opposite
the last ch-4 (place a stitch marker here)
2-4. 24sc (3 rounds)

Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail. Lightly stuff with fiberfill and, stitching tightly
through the gaps as shown in the photo, shape the tail. Sew it onto the back of
the body.
MOLLY BODY
Using a 2.00 mm crochet hook and orange yarn, continue crocheting.
1. 8inc on the left leg, 6sc on the center chain, 8inc on the right leg, 6sc on the
opposite side of the center chain= 44sc (place a stitch marker — the marker should be
at the back of the body)

Cut the yarn, leaving a sewing allowance, and sew it next to the red hair.
* The eyes, beak, and
mouth are made using

Ginger. Only the eye
embroidery is done
with blue yarn.
Molly Hat
Using green yarn and a 2.00 mm hook

Rocky Hair ( Make 4)
Using brown yarn and a 2.00 mm crochet hook.
1. 6sc into MR
2-7. 6sc (6 rounds)
Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail. Cut the yarn for the first three pieces. Do not cut
the yarn on the fourth piece; use it to join the others.
8. From the first hair piece: 3sc, from the second hair piece: 3sc, from the third hair
piece: 6sc, from the opposite side of the second piece: 3sc, from the opposite side
of the first piece: 3sc, from the fourth hair piece: 6sc= 24sc

10. (4sc, 1dec)*4 = 20sc
Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail. Sew onto the top of the head. Fold the front hair
piece forward and the three back pieces backward.(If it does not hold its shape by
hand, lightly secure with a few stitches.)
Rocky Scarf
Using light blue yarn and a 2.00 mm crochet hook.
1. Ch 4, join with the first chain to form a ring.
2. Ch 3, 1sc into the ring, ch 2, 1sc into the same space, ch 3, turn.

Medium Piece (make 2)= Over ch 35: sl st, 2sc, 1hdcinc, 1hdc, 1hdcinc,(1dc, 1dc
inc)*5, 15dc, 3hdc, ch 1. Fasten off.
Large Piece (make 1)= Over ch 40: sl st, 2sc, 1hdcinc, 1hdc, 1hdcinc, (1dc,
1dcinc)*5, 20dc, 3hdc, ch 1. Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail.
Tail Base:
Using brown yarn and a 2.00 mm crochet hook.
1. Over ch 9: 8sc, turn
2. (ch 2, 1dc, ch 2, 1sc)*4
Cut the yarn leaving a sewing tail.
Dip all tail pieces into diluted white glue to stiffen them. Arrange the green tail
pieces side by side, placing the large piece in the center and the small pieces on
the outer edges, and secure them at the base with the tail base.
Sew the tail onto the back of the body as shown in the photo. Close the green gap
at the bottom by stitching with brown yarn, alternating from below and above.
