Based on the given case study answer the given questions.
Q31. Tim was sitting in his room when he heard a loud thunder. He realized that the sound was heard a
few seconds after seeing the lightning flash. He wondered why the sound was delayed. Later, he learned
that sound travels at a finite speed and much slower than light.
a) Why did Tim hear thunder after lightning?

causes like forest fires also destroy trees. Deforestation increases carbon dioxide, raises temperature,
lowers groundwater, reduces rainfall, increases soil erosion, and can lead to desertification .
