Introduction & Entry
Teacher Ailee: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight, the stars aren't just in the sky—they are
right here in this room.
Welcome to the High School Ball 2026. A night of elegance, legacy, and unforgettable memories. To start
our evening officially, let us all rise and give a warm round of applause for the Entry of our School
Administrators, Faculty, and the High School Students.
(Music plays as everyone enters and takes their seats)
II. Spiritual Opening
Dirk: To ground us in gratitude for this beautiful gathering, please remain standing. We will now be moved
by a Prayer Song entitled, The Prayer.
Paulene: This will be followed immediately by the Invocation to be led by Janiel Melano, a Grade 10
student.
III. Welcome Remarks
Dirk: Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, beloved faculty, and most importantly, the stars of
tonight’s gala— Good evening!
Ishii: Tonight, we step away from the humdrum of textbooks and the rush of the classroom into a world of
starlight and sophistication. Look around you. Tonight isn't just about the stunning gowns or the sharp
suits—though I must say, everyone looks absolutely breathtaking. Tonight is about transition.
Dirk: It’s the night where our Juniors prepare to step into the shoes of leadership, and our Seniors begin
to savor the final, golden moments of their high school journey. We are here to celebrate friendship,
legacy, and the beautiful memories we’ve built within the walls of our alma mater.
Ishii: Before we officially open the floor to the festivities, let us take a collective breath and appreciate the
elegance in this room. This is your night to shine, your night to dance, and your night to create stories
you’ll be telling for years to come.
Dirk: To formally set the tone for this evening’s celebration and to offer us a heartfelt message of
welcome, please join me in welcoming on stage our School Principal, Teacher Eden Espartero
Let’s give her a round of applause!"

IV. Entertainment & Mystery
Paulene: Thank you, teacher Eden, for those inspiring words. Now, to keep the energy flowing, we have a
special Intermission Number from our grade 10 students! Let’s give them a big hand!
(Performance takes place)
Dirk: Wow! What a performance. But wait, Paulene, I think the air is getting a bit... mysterious.
V. The Ceremonies (Candle Lighting & Key of Responsibility)
Dirk: We move now to the more sentimental part of our evening. The lighting of candles symbolizes the
light of knowledge and friendship we share. Please prepare for the Candle Lighting ceremony.
Paulene: Following the light, we witness a tradition of transition.
The Transfer of the KEY of RESPONSIBILITY. We call on Antonio Rodrigo C. Oppus IV to pass the
symbolic key.
(Antonio will give his speech)
The Handover: After Antonio finishes his speech, he should hold the key with both hands. Precious
should also take it with both hands to show respect for the "weight" of the responsibility.
The Photo Op: Once the key is exchanged, both should stand side-by-side for a few seconds and smile
toward the audience/photographer before Precious begins her speech.
Tone: Keep the pace slow and steady. This is the "solemn" part of the night, so a serious but proud tone
works best.
Dirk: And to accept the challenge and the future of our student body, we call on Precious Hyacinth
Dominique G. Cartagena.
( Precious will give her speech)
VI. Grand Dances & Runway
Paulene: The floor is about to get a lot more graceful. It’s time for the Cotillon. Let us watch as our
students showcase their poise and coordination.
(After cotillon)
Dirk: Alright, the grace was lovely, but now... I want to see some ATTITUDE! It’s time to see those suits
and gowns up close.
Paulene: That’s right! We’ve seen you sitting down, we’ve seen you dancing, but now we want to see you
OWN this floor. So, It’s time for... WALK THE RUNWAY!"
Dirk: I want to hear the crowd! If you see your friend looking like a literal movie star, let them hear it!
Paulene: Don't just walk, give us a pose, give us a smile, give us that Top Model energy! First up, let’s
have our Junior High School trendsetters...
Dirk: They look amazing, but we want to see those outfits up close! Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to
Walk the Runway. Show us that confidence!
Transition to Dinner
Dirk: Wow! I think we just witnessed a professional fashion show. Give yourselves a massive round of
applause!
Paulene: I don't know about you, Dirk, but seeing all that energy has made me quite hungry. I think it’s the
perfect time to reward ourselves with a feast.
Dirk: I couldn't agree more. Up next... the moment our stomachs have been waiting for: DINNER!
VII. Dinner & Awarding
Paulene: All that dancing surely worked up an appetite. It is now time for DINNER. Please enjoy the food
and the company of your friends.
(Background music plays during dinner)
Dirk: (Post-Dinner) We hope you enjoyed the feast! Now, it’s time to recognize the standouts of the
evening. It’s time for the Awarding ceremony!
(Hosts announce winners for Prom King/Queen, Best Dressed, etc.)
VIII. Closing & Free Dance
Paulene: As our formal program comes to a close, we invite Ptr. Eden Espartero, our School Principal,
to lead us in the Closing Prayer.
Dirk: Thank you, Ptr. Eden. Now, the formalities are over, the lights are low, and the floor is yours.
Paulene & Dirk: Let the FREE DANCE begin! Have a wonderful night, everyone!
Tips:
● Ad-libbing: If there’s a delay, talk about how stunning everyone looks or ask the audience if
they’re having a good time.
● Energy: Keep your voices bright and excited, especially during the "Walk the Runway" and
"Awarding" sections.
● Coordination: Decide beforehand who reads which bullet point to avoid talking over each other.
