NUMBER SYSTEM

Indian( Hindu-Arabic), International(British), Roman number system


 We use 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 as symbols in Indian & International system to represent any number.
 In this numbersystem we start counting from 1 to go up to infinity i.e 1 2 3……infinity ( ∞ ).
 Pronunciation of numbers is same upto 99,999 but after 99,999 it goes change.
 Using comma: In International system we use a comma after every 3rd digit from unit/ ones digit.
Whereas In Indian system first we use a comma after every 3rd digit from unit/ ones digit and than after
we use comma after every second digit.

In Roman numbers we use I,V,X,L,C,D,M


 In this numbersystem, We never use 0,1,2,3…..etc symbol but we use English alphabet in Capital letter
as I=1, V=5, X= 10, L= 50, C=100, D= 500, M = 1000

FORMATION OF SMALLEST OR GREATEST NUMBER

USING DIGITS – 0, 1, 2 ,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Example form the greatest and smallest numbers using digits – 7,0,6,8,1,5,4,2,9

THE GREATEST NUMBER – 987654210 (Decending order)

THE SMALLEST NUMBER – 102456789 ((Ascending order)
