Cyber bullying

Introduction
Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that takes place over digital devices such
as mobile phones, computers, and tablets. It involves the use of
technology, especially the internet and social media platforms, to harass,
threaten, embarrass, or target another person. Unlike traditional bullying,
cyberbullying can happen at any time and reach a wide audience very
quickly.

Understanding cyber bullying

At its core, cyberbullying involves using digital technologies to deliberately

harass, threaten, embarrass, or target another person. This can happen
across various platforms, including social media, messaging apps, and
online gaming. Key characteristics often include repetitive behavior, an
intent to cause harm, a perceived power imbalance between the bully and
the victim, and the unfortunate ability for bullies to act with a degree of
anonymity.
