Nanogenerator Research Society of India is a proposed Section 8 company to be

incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with the objective of promoting research,
innovation, and education in the field of nanogenerators, energy harvesting
technologies, and self-powered systems. The proposed Company intends to support
technology development, product innovation, incubation of research-driven initiatives,
and collaboration among academia, industry, startups, and government bodies, aligned
with sustainability and renewable energy goals.

The following are the proposed objects of the Company, shared for your review
and approval:

1. To promote, encourage, and advance research, innovation, education, skill


development, and capacity building in the fields of nanogenerators, energy
harvesting technologies, self-powered systems, smart and functional materials,
wearable and implantable electronics, Internet of Things (IoT) power systems,
renewable and clean energy solutions, sustainable devices, advanced
manufacturing, and all allied, emerging, and future technologies, for the benefit of
society at large.
2. To conceptualize, design, develop, establish, support, and facilitate
laboratories, research programs, pilot projects, demonstrators, prototypes,
proof-of-concept models, and technology platforms, including future products,
processes, systems, tools, software, hardware, and integrated solutions arising from
scientific and technological research.
3. To establish, promote, support, incubate, mentor, or assist in the formation
and growth of startups, spin-offs, social enterprises, innovation-driven
ventures, and technology-based entities or initiatives, whether directly or
through partnerships, based on present or future technologies, intellectual
property, research outcomes, or product developments, strictly in furtherance of
the Company’s non-profit objectives.
4. To undertake, support, and facilitate activities relating to product
development, technology readiness, testing, validation, certification,
standardisation, technology transfer, licensing, scaling, deployment, and
adoption of existing or future technologies and products, ensuring that all such
activities are aligned with the objects of the Company and without distribution of
profits to members.
5. To create, manage, and operate centres of excellence, incubation centres,
innovation hubs, accelerators, testing and calibration facilities, shared
infrastructure platforms, digital platforms, and knowledge repositories for
research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology dissemination.
6. To organize, conduct, sponsor, and facilitate conferences, workshops,
seminars, symposiums, training programs, faculty development programs,
fellowships, internships, certification courses, awareness programs, and
continuing education initiatives at national and international levels in scientific,
technological, sustainability, and innovation-related domains.
7. To collaborate, partner, and enter into arrangements with universities,
academic institutions, research organisations, government bodies, public
sector undertakings, industry, startups, international organisations, NGOs,
trusts, and professional bodies for joint research, innovation, capacity building,
technology development, and societal implementation.
8. To apply for, receive, administer, manage, and utilize grants, donations, CSR
funds, endowments, sponsorships, subscriptions, contributions, intellectual
property rights, or any other lawful financial or non-financial assistance from
Central or State Governments, statutory bodies, corporates, institutions,
multilateral agencies, international organisations, or any other lawful source.
9. To generate, acquire, hold, protect, manage, license, assign, and disseminate
intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, designs,
know-how, data, software, and research outputs, arising from or connected with the
activities of the Company, solely for furtherance of its objects.
10. To publish, disseminate, and communicate research outcomes, technical
knowledge, policy insights, educational content, and awareness
material through journals, books, reports, conference proceedings, digital media,
online platforms, databases, and other present or future modes of communication.
11. To undertake studies, surveys, feasibility analyses, pilot deployments, impact
assessments, policy research, advisory, and consultancy activities related to
science, technology, sustainability, innovation, and future technologies, on a non-
profit basis.
12. To promote outreach, awareness, advocacy, and capacity-building
initiatives aligned with national and international missions, programs, and goals
relating to renewable energy, sustainability, climate action, smart infrastructure,
advanced technologies, and inclusive development, without engaging in political
activity.
13. To acquire, establish, lease, hold, use, develop, and manage movable or
immovable property, infrastructure, equipment, and assets necessary or
incidental to the attainment of the objects of the Company.
14. To do all such other lawful acts, deeds, and things as may be incidental or
conducive to the attainment of the above objects, including adoption of new and
future technologies, business models, platforms, or operational frameworks,
provided that the income and property of the Company are applied solely towards
its objects and not distributed to its members.
