My first time to Kampala


My name is Onesmus, Last year in December, I went to
Kampala to visit my uncle Sam. It was on a Saturday morning. I
took a bus from Nyabugogo Bus Park at 6 o’clock in the morning.
I arrived in Kampala at 4:00 o’clock the same day. I found my cousin Mutesi
waiting for me at the bus park. We greeted each other then we went to
my uncle’s home in Muyenga. Here, I enjoyed playing with my cousins,
eating Ugandan food, learning Luganda, and watching movies. I stayed
with my uncle for one week.
After that, my uncle took me to see my grandmother who stays in Entebbe
near Lake Victoria, here, I enjoyed many activities for three days. I
enjoyed seeing the source of river Nile and the activities on Lake
Victoria. I also enjoyed seeing birds like created crane and wild animals
like zebra, antelope, and giraffe. After that, my uncle took be back to
Kampala and helped me to get the bus to take me back to Kigali. I told
all my family members how I enjoyed my journey.
