- The teacher will show the definition and the steps of writing narrative essay.
- The Teacher will give a short review on the elements of the short story, in
connection with narrative writing.
- The teacher elaborates the discussion by showing more examples on
paragraph writing.

Sharing:
- Think of your favorite story and then, tell us also at least three reasons why you
consider that story as your favorite.
- You will be given 3 minutes only to prepare and present it in front of the class.
11. COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITY
Writing Activity:
- The teacher will ask the students to proceed to their collaborative learning group.
The teacher will give the students the task of saying, ”Don’t tell. Show!” activity. And
present in front of the class.

Telling:
Mike didn’t want to go find the lost puppy.

Showing:
When Mike’s mother asked him to find the lost puppy, Mike groaned, “Do I have to,
Mom?”

- After the presentation, the teacher will ask the following questions to the students:

Writing narrative essay.
- Directions: It’s a good thing that nobody’s perfect. Some of life’s greatest lessons
are learned by accident. Write 3-5 sentence about a time when you learned an
important lesson through making a mistake.
