Part 1: The Floating Kingdom of Aerathia Aerathia Floating Islands

Aerathia is a floating kingdom made up of twenty-seven islands that drift in the sky, sustained by a rare mineral called levitrium. Captain Arion Vale and historian Lyrena Thalos embark on an expedition to find five missing islands, believed to be hidden beyond the Storm Belt, which they ultimately discover arranged in a perfect circle with mysterious glowing structures. Their encounter with a powerful voice from a shimmering energy sphere suggests that the hidden islands may hold significant secrets related to Aerathia's past.

Part 1: The Floating Kingdom of Aerathia

In the far reaches of the western sky, beyond the ordinary clouds known
to travelers of the earth, there existed a kingdom called Aerathia. Unlike
any other land ever imagined, Aerathia was not built upon soil or stone
but upon floating islands that drifted slowly through the blue expanse
like wandering continents of air.

No one knew exactly when Aerathia first appeared in the sky. Some
ancient manuscripts claimed that it rose from the sea thousands of years
ago after a mysterious celestial storm. Others believed it had always been
there, hidden from the world below by layers of mist and magic.

Whatever its origin, Aerathia had become one of the most remarkable
civilizations ever known.

The Islands of the Sky

Aerathia consisted of twenty-seven great islands, each suspended

hundreds of miles above the oceans. These islands floated because of a
rare mineral known as levitrium, which naturally repelled gravity when
exposed to sunlight.

The islands were shaped like enormous plates of land, their edges trailing
long waterfalls that dissolved into mist before ever reaching the earth.

Each island served a different purpose.

The island of Valmora was the capital. It contained the royal palace,
towering libraries, and the Grand Council Hall where the kingdom’s
leaders met.

The island of Sylphae was covered in forests where trees grew taller than
cathedral towers. Their leaves shimmered with silver veins that reflected
sunlight like mirrors.

Another island, Torradon, was dominated by enormous windmills that

harvested the powerful air currents flowing through the skies.

These currents were the lifeblood of Aerathia.

The Wind Sailors

Because the islands constantly drifted, the people of Aerathia developed

an unusual method of transportation. Instead of ships sailing on water,
they built skyships that sailed on the wind.

These vessels had large curved sails made of woven cloud-silk. The sails
captured the sky currents and allowed ships to glide between islands.
The pilots of these vessels were known as Wind Sailors.

Wind Sailors were highly respected throughout Aerathia. They trained for
years to understand the complex patterns of air currents that flowed
around the islands.

A mistake in navigation could send a skyship spiraling downward toward

the endless clouds below.

But the most skilled Wind Sailors could navigate even the most dangerous
storm corridors with ease.

One such sailor was Captain Arion Vale.

Captain Arion Vale

Arion Vale had been flying skyships since he was sixteen years old. By the
age of thirty, he had become one of the most famous captains in Aerathia.

He was known not only for his navigation skills but also for his curiosity.

Unlike most sailors who traveled only between the established islands,
Arion frequently ventured beyond the known sky routes.

He believed that there were more islands hidden beyond the horizon.

Most scholars dismissed this idea as fantasy.

After all, Aerathia had been mapped for centuries.

But Arion had seen things others had not.

Strange shadows on the clouds.

Unusual wind patterns.

And once, far to the north, he had glimpsed what looked like a massive
floating structure rising from a storm.

No one believed him.

Except one person.

The Scholar Lyrena

Lyrena Thalos was a historian at the Royal Archives of Valmora.

She specialized in lost civilizations and ancient sky legends.

While examining a collection of extremely old star charts, Lyrena

discovered something intriguing.

The maps showed thirty-two islands, not twenty-seven.

Five islands were missing.

At first she assumed the charts were inaccurate.

But then she noticed something even stranger.

The missing islands were arranged in a perfect circular pattern around the
capital.

It was as if they had once formed a protective ring.

Lyrena shared her discovery with the Royal Council, but they dismissed it
as irrelevant historical speculation.

Frustrated, she decided to investigate on her own.

That was when she met Arion Vale.

The Expedition

Lyrena approached Arion at the Sky Harbor of Valmora.

Sky Harbor was a massive platform built along the edge of the island,
where dozens of skyships floated in docking towers.

She showed Arion the ancient maps.

He studied them carefully.

Then he smiled.

“These wind patterns,” he said, pointing to the faded lines on the chart.

“They’re not theoretical. I’ve flown through them.”

Lyrena’s eyes widened.

“You mean the winds beyond the northern storms?”

Arion nodded.

“The place where I saw that structure.”

At that moment, they both realized something.

The missing islands might not be lost.

They might simply be hidden.

And so they decided to launch an expedition.

Preparing the Skyship

Arion’s vessel was called The Celestial Wind.

It was one of the fastest skyships in Aerathia.

The ship had three sails and a reinforced hull designed to survive powerful
storm currents.

For the expedition, Lyrena gathered supplies:

Ancient maps
Navigation instruments
Weather crystals used to detect storms
And several books containing forgotten sky legends.

Arion recruited a small crew of trusted sailors.

Among them was Marek, a mechanic who could repair nearly any skyship
engine.

There was also Seris, a young navigator known for her remarkable
memory of star positions.

Within a week, the expedition was ready.

At sunrise, the Celestial Wind left the harbor.

Its sails caught the morning currents.

And slowly, the ship drifted away from Valmora toward the northern skies.

The Storm Belt

The northern sky of Aerathia was dominated by a massive region known

as The Storm Belt.

Here, dark clouds circled endlessly, generating lightning storms that could
tear apart ordinary skyships.

Few sailors dared enter the Storm Belt.

But Arion believed that beyond it lay something extraordinary.

As the Celestial Wind approached the first layer of clouds, the wind began
to howl.

Lightning flashed across the sky.

The ship rocked violently.

“Hold the sails steady!” Arion shouted.

The crew moved quickly.

Seris checked the navigation crystals.

“The currents are shifting!”

Marek secured the engine turbines.

Lyrena gripped the railing as thunder echoed around them.

For hours they struggled through the storm.

Then suddenly—

The clouds parted.

And what they saw left them speechless.

The Hidden Ring

Floating in the distance were five enormous islands.

They were arranged in a perfect circle.

But unlike the islands of Aerathia, these were covered in strange glowing
structures.

Tall towers of crystal rose from the land.

Bridges of light connected the islands.

And at the center of the ring floated something even more incredible.

A gigantic sphere of shimmering energy.

The crew stared in awe.

Lyrena whispered, “The missing islands…”

Arion nodded slowly.

“But why were they hidden?”

Before anyone could answer—

The sphere began to glow brighter.

And a deep voice echoed across the sky.

“Unknown vessel detected.”

The crew looked at each other nervously.

“State your origin.”

Arion took a deep breath.

“We come from Aerathia.”

There was a pause.

Then the voice responded.

“Aerathia still exists?”

Lyrena stepped forward.

“Yes.”

Another pause.

Then the voice said something that changed everything.

“Then the time has finally come.”
