With the rapid increase in population, there is a growing demand for food production. To
meet this demand without harming the environment, farmers are encouraged to adopt
improved and sustainable agricultural practices. These include the use of high-yielding and
disease-resistant seeds, proper irrigation techniques, application of manures and fertilisers to
maintain soil fertility, and crop protection methods to prevent damage from pests and
