Apa itu Zotero?
Zotero adalah software
manajemen referensi open
source dan free yang
dirancang untuk membantu
para peneliti, mahasiswa,
dan akademisi
mengumpulkan, mengatur,
dan mensitasi materi
penelitian mereka. Zotero
memungkinkan pengguna untuk menyimpan dan mengelola informasi bibliografi dan dokumen
terkait dari berbagai sumber, termasuk jurnal dan konferensi. Dengan antarmuka yang intuitif,
Zotero memfasilitasi pengorganisasian referensi melalui collection, sehingga mudah untuk
diambil dan digunakan nanti. Zotero juga terintegrasi dengan software seperti Microsoft Word,
sehingga memungkinkan pengguna untuk menyisipkan sitasi dan membuat bibliografi dalam
berbagai citation style.
Step 1: Install Zotero
1. Download Zotero:
o Go to the official Zotero website: [Link]
o Click on the “Download” button for Windows.
2. Install Zotero:
o Open the downloaded installer file (usually named [Link]).
o Follow the installation instructions to complete the setup.

Step 2: Install Zotero Connector for Google Chrome
1. Add Zotero Connector:
o Open Google Chrome.
o Go to the Chrome Web Store:

o Click on the “Add to Chrome” button and then confirm by clicking “Add
extension.”
Step 3: Set Up Zotero with Microsoft Word
1. Install Microsoft Word Plugin:
o Open Zotero (the application you installed earlier).
o Go to the “Edit” menu.
o Click on “Settings.”
o In the “Cite” tab, ensure that the Microsoft Word add-in is installed. If it is not,
click on the “Install Word Add-in” button.

2. Verify Installation in Microsoft Word:
o Open Microsoft Word.
o Look for the Zotero tab in the Ribbon at the top of the window. This tab provides
options to insert citations, create bibliographies, and manage your references.

Step 4: Using Zotero
1. Collect References:
o When you find a source you want to save (e.g., a research article):
1. click on the Zotero Connector icon in the Chrome toolbar. The icon will
change based on the type of source (book, article, etc.).
2. Atau bisa juga click kanan ➔ Zotero Connector ➔ Save to Zotero
o The source will be saved to your Zotero library.

2. Citing Sources in Microsoft Word:
o In your Word document, place the cursor where you want to insert a citation.
o Click on the “Zotero” tab and select “Add Citation.”

o A search box will appear. Search for the reference you want to cite and select it.
Click “OK” to insert the citation [1] .

3. Creating a Bibliography:
o After you’ve inserted citations, go to the Zotero tab in Word.
o Click on “Add Bibliography” to generate a list of references based on the
citations in your document.
