CONCLUSION
The seismic design of the Office Building is done as per the relevant IS codes and Nepal National Building Code
(NBC). The Dead and Live Load of the building is taken as per the IS code 875. The Seismic load is as per the IS code
1893-2016by seismic coefficient method and the seismic coefficient is assigned to the Analysis and Design software
ETABS V20

The Analysis of the 3D model after assigning all the dead, live and seismic load is done in ETABS. And also the Design
of each every member of column and beam as well as the foundation is done from the ETABS2018 using IS code.

The other detailing rules for column, column, foundation and the column junction etc concerning the stirrups size,
spacing lap length, confining of joints are done as per the IS code 13920 for ductile design.

After design of the members the structural drawing is drawn as per design and other detailing rules for earthquake
resistant building.

Hence safe, stable and the economical seismic design of the building is done.
