Following points to be kept in mind before answering each
Question;
a. Read the question to understand what is being asked, if
required read the question again after answering to make
sure what you answered is what is asked.
b. Answer to the point, do not give unnecessary explanation
and then come to the point. You need to elaborate
wherever required.
c. Form a habit of checking after you finish writing the
answer, do not be over confident and avoid rechecking.
d. Make correct use of comma, full stop, capital letters &
starting a new sentence. For example a sentence does not
begin with “So it was very good experience“rather “It was
a very good experience”.
e. Ensure proper framing of sentences, do not make
repetitive use of a, I, he, the, is, used to, etc. Be clear what
you want to express.
f. Avoid use of slang words, use formal language. Do not give
childish/kiddish answers.
1. Can you share some basic information about yourself,
your family, your hobbies, your likes / dislikes, your
work experience (if any) etc.
Sample answer:
My name is Raj Gopal working as a Senior Executive for a domestic
call center for four years. I am a hard working person and was
rewarded with a promotion recently due to my outstanding
performance.
I am married to Rani a housewife for three years and blessed with a
son and daughter, both are schooling. My father is a retired
government servant and mother is a housewife.
I am a keen follower of IPL cricket although I am equally fond of
football which I enjoyed playing during my school days.
I am God fearing and never miss my daily prayers. I am honest in my
dealings and love to eat non-vegetarian dishes especially chicken
and fish. I do not like to see anyone suffering due to which I do what I
can to help.
2. Tell me about your closest friends - their personalities,
interests, occupations.
Sample answer:
Friends have made a big impact in my life. Manish has been
associated with me since my college days. We have some wonderful
memories of our college life and the activities we were involved. We
have had our share of misunderstandings but the bond we have
shared will hold good for many years to come. Manish comes from a
middle class family a humble person and very talented. Has
performed at many college events and cultural programs lending his
voice in singing. I have enjoyed the hospitality his parents have given
each time I have visited his house.
Manish works for Torrent Power as a manager in purchase
department. He got married a year ago to Anita who works in the
same company.
3. When was the last time you worked incredibly hard and
for what?
Sample answer:
The final exam for my commerce graduation will be remembered as
one which gave me a rewarding experience. I was average in my
studies so I planned to take the help of my friend Manish to prepare
for the finals. We rented out a room where I could focus on my
studies without any distraction. The plan and the effort studying day
and night helped to come up with flying colors. I graduated with a first
class something I had not even dreamed.
4. Who in your life brings you the most joy?
Sample answer:
My boss of four years Mr. Dilbar Singh has contributed a lot to my
growth in terms of my career as well as my character. This growth
obviously has brought joy and happiness in plenty. I have a great
rapport with my boss and enjoy working with him. We combine well to
achieve the required goals and thus met with recognition by the
company by promoting and giving me increment in salary. The job
satisfaction and the joy I get working with the company helps me to
carry this feeling to my family and friends thus gaining all round
satisfaction and respect.
5. As an individual how do you look at this lockdown
phase, positive or negative for you? Why
Sample answer:
I look at the lockdown as a positive event even though it does not
seem to end soon. The lockdown in itself is a challenge as I need to
take all precaution to take care of my health both physically and
mentally. It has been a battle between life and death as can be seen
from the events that have affected the world. The lockdown has given
me an opportunity to ensure regular exercise, keeping fit, spend
quality time with the family and increase my trust and faith in God.

2. What would you prefer between working alone and
working in a team? And why?

Given a choice I would prefer to work in a team. The best part is the
work atmosphere is suitable to bring the best out of you. You have
the support of a team to excel, be precise and produce the highest
output.
3. If you ever get a chance to go wherever you want, where
would you like to go and why?
Sample answer:
Given a chance I would take the first flight to Rome considered to be
the most romantic city in the world. It consists of the smallest country
in the world The Vatican City. I have heard this city is well maintained
with lots of greenery, wonderful climate and delicious Italian food and
wine to enjoy.
4. What was your favorite thing to do when you were a
kid?
Sample answer:
When I was a kid I enjoyed drawing and coloring. I had lot of drawing
material so most of my time was spent filling color in the figures given
in the books, as well as draw various cartoon pictures as well as color
them. Drawing came naturally to me due to which I would score good
marks in our school drawing subject.
5. Who is you inspirational person and why?
Sample answer:
The person who inspired me most was my father. If at all I would like
to inherit anything I would ask for the natural qualities my father had.
He was an outstanding personality in his own time. A very had
working person having exceptional nature and could get along with
anyone. He was a great footballer and enjoyed dancing. I do
remember the fond memories he left behind and try to imitate many
of his qualities and be like him.
1. What do you think makes a great customer service?
Sample answer:
The best customer service to me is one where you get appreciation
from a customer for service rendered. This customer response comes
from the fact that you place the customer above you in every respect
even if he turns out to be an abusive customer. A great customer
service comes when you deal with a customer in a way that the
customer is always right and you are there because of him.
2. What is the one thing that you wanted to do but you
couldn't and why?
Sample answer:
The thing that I wanted to do was to be honest and tell my boss the
blunder committed at work by one of my colleague but instead took
the blame on myself. I ensured to maintain the reputation of the
company. The reason for not disclosing the truth was because the
colleague would lose his job and face severe financial crisis. He was
loyal to his work came from a poor family
3. How would your boss from the last job would describe you
and why.?
Sample answer:
The boss from my previous job if given a chance to verify my
credentials would surely have many great comments to make about
myself but the one I know for sure would be that I am hard-working,
honest and dedicated. I do not look at the watch when completing the
work assigned to me and ensure timely closure.
5. What is the difference between confidence and over-
confidence
Sample answer:
The biggest difference between confidence and over-confidence
comes from your present situation. Confidence is where you go about
your work as if it is always going to be a learning process and not
taking my work for granted however over-confidence comes from the
fact that you want to show you know more than others and that you
consider yourself to be a perfectionist out to prove you are great.
