a) Definition of flow regimes

GRADING
• Midterm - 1 30% (April 1, 2026)
• Midterm - 2 30% (May 13, 2026)
• Final Exam 40%

RULES
• Attendance will be taken and can be used for the grading.
• The make-up examination is held after the final exam, and it covers all the
topics. It replaces the missed exam. It is not possible to make up multiple
missed exams.
• No make-up for missed exams unless an official excuse is submitted. For an
illness, the student must provide a medical report from or approved by the
Medical Center (METU) and inform the course instructor within three days
after the end of the medical report period.
• Students who do not take mid-term exams cannot take the final exam and will
get NA grade from the course.
