Sub: Question Paper Pattern – Semester Examination – WLP (Online Exams)


Dear students.
Greetings from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)!
It is notified that the University will conduct End Semester Examination in ERP for students enrolled
in WLP/online mode. All the students are informed to verify examination timetable and appear End
Semester Examination – March/April 2026.
The Question paper pattern is described as below:
1. Question paper shall be for a maximum of 70 marks per paper and the duration is 3 hours.
2. Question paper comprises 2 parts viz., ‘Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)’ and ‘Descriptive’.
The weightage allotted for MCQs is 50 marks with 4 optional answers each with total number
of questions as 50, each question carrying 1 mark.
3. Other part is descriptive with a total weightage of 20 marks. Students shall attempt any 5
questions out of 7 questions, each question carrying 4 Marks.
4. It is mandate that students shall use the answer template provided by the University (Click to
download answer template) to attempt descriptive type answers. Students shall refrain from
using other template.
5. Students shall take adequate prints of the template in (black and white)
