IV. PROCEDURES
A. Springboard/Motivation Relate an anecdote; during a Math subject, a student asked permission to go to the CR
(establishing a purpose for the lesson) but his teacher said “No”. The student repeated his request to go to the CR since he
cannot tolerate the pressure of his bladder but the teacher again said “No”. The
student proceeded to the CR and his teacher was very furious that he reported it to the
principal. During the interrogation of the principal, the student explained that his
teacher discussed that two negative = positive so when he asked two times to go to the
CR and his teacher answered two “No”, he thought that means “Yes” so he went
the CR.
B. Activity (Review of previous Use the story as a spring board to introduce the lesson. Use brainstorming to come

C. Analysis (Presenting examples/ 1. Construct the rules of multiplying and dividing integers using the brainstormed
instances of the new lesson) ideas

I. Evaluation (Assessing Learners) Do Activity Sheet 3
J. Agreement (Additional activities Research a problem/situation for a real life application of multiplication and division of
integer. Show how you solve the problem/ situation.
