The document discusses various aspects of Master's programs in Physics and Mathematics, highlighting the importance of specifying specializations within Mathematical Engineering. It outlines priority tasks for improving education, scientific research, and cooperation with foreign institutions, while also raising questions about student mobility and curriculum structure. Additionally, it notes discrepancies in module order and programming language choices, as well as missing information in student surveys.

General

It will be good to keep in mind that Master programs in Physics and Mathematics are by
Major, so there might be some differences in subjects depending on Major.
It might be better to specify the specialization within the Master's program in
Mathematical Engineering, because, as far as I understand, Mathematical Engineering is a more
specific branch of Applied Mathematics.

3. Cooperation Agreement
Why is the internship conducted at Urgench State University?

4. Development Plan
I. Priority Tasks for Improving the Educational Process, Advancing Digitalization, and
Enhancing the Quality of Education
How many students participated in mobility program?
What academic outcomes are expected from participating students?
How many joint educational programs will be implemented with foreign partner universities?
Which foreign universities will participate in the joint educational programs?
Which fields or faculties will these programs cover?
How many professors and teachers participated in professional development and internship in
foreign universities?

II. Priority Tasks for Increasing the Effectiveness of Scientific Research and Expanding the
Integration of Science, Education, and Production
What measures will be taken to enhance the university’s scientific potential?
How many Doctors of Science (DSc) defences are planned to be completed? (Can be specified
for faculty of physics and mathematics)
How many Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) defences are expected? (Can be specified for faculty of
physics and mathematics)

IV. Priority Tasks for Improving Material and Technical Resources and Equipping Educational
Laboratories with Modern Instruments
Can university give information about what kind of changes were made in laboratories, in faculty
of physics and mathematics?
How will the newly established laboratories support scientific research and academic training?

V. Priority Tasks for Establishing Cooperation with Foreign Educational and Research
Institutions
Has university managed to establish cooperation with leading foreign institutions and involve
professors in the educational process?
How will foreign professors be involved in the educational process?

6. Classification
Matematik injiniring (ishlab chiqarish sohalari bo‘yicha) -> Mathematical Engineering (for
industrial sectors) official translation might be little bit different.
As you can see in Bachelor program in parentheses mentioned general field of study

8. Study Plan or Curricular Overview

In Bachelor of Physics module RADB306 (5 semester) from Compulsory subjects comes
later then module PHY416 (3 semester) from Elective subjects. Also, module PHY315 (5
semester) comes later then PHY416 (3 semester). I understand that they are elective but in my
opinion their order is kinda off.
9. Module Description
Study and examination requirements are similar for every module, even though there are
different Examination forms. Only different description I spotted was in document 9.6 in module
DAM10.
In documents 9.1, 9.4 and 9.3, in modules DASB108, FJKB206 and ATDB120. C# is
used as main programing language. Are there any specific reasons for choosing C#, given that
most modern programming languages can be used in a variety of fields?

10. Student Mobility

Numbers for student mobility program are low. Also, there is not description about
mobility program for Bachelor of Physics

22. Student Survey

In document 22.1 one question is missing.
