Name of the teacher- Ms Neha Tanwar

Primary wing
I have completed a course on DIKSHA titled "Leveraging Digital Tools and AI
Strategies in Language Teaching" and have incorporated digital tools and AI-
based pronunciation tool in this lesson plan to make learning interactive and
engaging for Grade 1 students.
Proof of Exploration-

Grade 1
Subject: English
Topic: Naming Words (Nouns)
Instructional aids-:
Digital story, flashcards with pictures of nouns (cat, dog, teacher, ball, book),
AI-based pronunciation tool
The 5-A Learning Process:
Aim:
Students will be able to identify nouns (people, places, animals, things) and use
them in simple sentences.
Action:
1. The teacher will show flashcards and ask “What is this?” to elicit naming
words.
2. Digital Exploration- The teacher will project the digital story, pause to
highlight the names of persons, places, animals and things. The students
will say the words aloud, then AI-based pronunciation tool will be used.

Analysis:
Activity Discussion: What were the names of pictures you saw in the story?
Generalised Discussion: What is the same about all these pictures? And
different?
Higher Order Thinking Skills: Number these words, in order, 1-5, based on the
letter that comes first- cow, apple, zebra, hut, jug.
Application:
The students will encircle the naming words from the given words.
Assessment:
The teacher will observe if students can name the noun on flashcards and use it
correctly in a sentence.
Assignment: Write 5 nouns (person, place, animal, thing).
