Final Project
Rationale: Research the Holocaust with a partner using reliable
sources. Establish connections to all of the themes for the year.

Governance and Power
● Which type of government existed in the Third Reich?
○ Describe characteristics of the government
○ Who was in charge? What powers did they have?
● Key differences between the Enlightenment and Nazism
● Prominent leaders who initiated the Holocaust
Wealth:
● Which type of economy existed under the Third Reich?
(Command, mixed, traditional, etc.)
● How was wealth distributed?
● Trade - imports/exports during WWII
● New inventions during WWII (military, medical, etc.)
Revolt:
● Which groups revolted against the Nazi party? Why?
● How did people organize revolts?
● Which tools were used in the revolts? (Technologies, etc.)
● How did industrialization aid revolts?
Identity:
● What is a genocide?
● What is a holocaust?
● Which groups were targeted during the Holocaust?
○ Social identities (race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual
orientation, etc.)
● How does identity shape

Exhibit: You will create a digital or physical presentation to share
your research.

● At least THREE types of primary sources with captions
