EXERCISE 2

The line graph illustrates the change in three different

types of crime in Manchester city Centre between 2003
and 2012.
Overall, while there was the same trend of increasing the
crime rate of car theft and robbery over the period of 9
years, Burglary witnessed a significant decrease in the
number of crimes.
In 2003, burglary was the most common crime at around
3,400 crimes. However, from 2004 to 2012, the crime rate
underwent a considerable fall that just was 1,400 crimes
with many fluctuations
Obviously, in 2003 car theft and robbery showed a small
rate that were at around 2,300 and 500 cases respectively.
However, car theft experienced a considerable increase in
2012 at 2,800 and overtook two areas as the highest
crime rate, robbery had a continuous wave but remained
at 500 crimes in the final year.

EXERCISE 3

The line graph compares average carbon dioxide emissions per person in the
United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal from 1967 to 2007.

Overall, whilst both Italy and Portugal had the same trend of increase per
person emissions through 40 years, the United Kingdom and Sweden have a
decline in average rate

At the beginning, Italy and Portugal were at around 4 and 1,8 metric tons
respectively. Although in 1997 the average emissions of Italy and Portugal
considerably rose about 8 and 5,5 tones, per person emissions of two areas
remained stably until 2007 without growth signs.
