The Event blocks are used to sense events, which trigger scripts to run.

These
blocks are light yellow in colour. The following pictures list the types of Events
blocks and their function.


Control: The Control blocks are used to control scripts under certain
conditions. They are amber in colour.

Let’s get more familiar with ScratchJr by creating some simple animations. To
get our sprites moving, we just need to give them scripts that describe how we
want them to move.
