Reflection

On our first day here at school during our Field Study observation I
cant imagine myself giving a lecture to the students for one I am an introvert
kind of a person, doesn’t want to be in the center of attention. Then the
Practice Teaching finally came I am really nervous because I’m not used to be
in front of the class teaching, when I was in high school also I can’t deliver a
proper reporting on our topic much less be being the one who teaches the
class. On the first day of my teaching I’m really nervous my hands is so
sweaty and my throat always dry out and I don’t know what I’ve saying to the
anymore if they understand the lesson or not and I know they are not
interested in the topic just by looking at their faces.
Luckily the subject I’m assigned with is very familiar with me and I can
handle the subject without even studying deeply on it. After that my first time
teaching ended and there is a relief that it is finished but that was just the first
there are many more classes to come. As the days, weeks gone by I adjusted
to the environment I became less awkward when teaching and gained
confidence when I am in front of the class, the lesson plan that I make is
improving as well maybe not that much a huge improvement there are some
progress that can be observe.
This experience is very memorable to me because it is fun even though
making lesson plans and other things are very stressful but there is a
fulfillment after such work, and what they say is true that even though you are
a teacher there are still some things that you learn along the way.
