you have heard of this movie, and if not, i will explain why this movie is so inspiring to me.

Introduction
The movie came out in 1989 and was directed by Peter Weir. It is set in Welton Academy, a
strict boarding school in the 1950s. The main character, Mr. John Keating, is an English teacher
who inspires his students to think for themselves and enjoy poetry. The movie shows how
education can help us discover who we are.

Background
The movie was written by Tom Schulman, based on his own experiences. Mr. Keating’s
character is inspired by one of his teachers. This teacher encouraged students to be creative
