Subject: Request for Student Concerns on Academic and Residential Environment issues.
Respected Sir,
We would like to respectfully submit a request on behalf of the students regarding a few
concerns related to academic schedules, transportation facilities, hostel facilities, and
general campus welfare.
• Firstly, many of us are finding the current classes timings difficult to manage due to
long travel distances and limited transport availability. We kindly request you to
consider reducing or adjusting the class hours to make the schedule more
convenient and effective for students. We request consideration of a more uniform
schedule, concluding regular classes by 5:40 PM on all 5 weekdays.
• Secondly, we request alignment of T&P technical sessions with placement and
interview requirements, with increased emphasis on data structures, coding
practice, and interview-focused problem solving, in addition to the foundational
topics currently being taught.
• Thirdly, we request the provision of separate buses for boys and girls to ensure
comfort, safety, and better management during travel. In addition, increasing the
number of buses during peak class hours would greatly help us reach the campus on
time and avoid overcrowding.
• We request a change in the current menu and food standards to ensure appropriate
nutritional requirements. Students also request regular monitoring and quality
checks of foods and in drinking water to maintain proper hygiene and safety
standards and ensure the Quality and Quantity of foods to be taken care.
• We student request regular cleaning, maintenance, and proper sanitization of
washrooms and bathrooms in both academic buildings and hostel premises and
water supply in washrooms during the classes’ hour. Ensuring consistent hygiene
standards will support student health, comfort, and overall campus well-being.
• We request consideration for permission to bring outside food into hostel premises
(for both boys’ and girls’ hostels), under appropriate regulations ensuring hygiene,
safety, and hostel discipline. Students have experienced strict restrictions on outside
food, and a balanced policy may help improve student convenience of bringing food
inside hostel premises while maintaining order within hostel premises.
• We sincerely request the administration to kindly review the current hostel
management and consider appointing a head warden for girls who is approachable,
understanding, and able to address students’ concerns with empathy and fairness.
• We kindly requests the management to provide a student committee so the
students of every branch can address their problem to the respective student
committee leaders and they can take it to the respective department and
management for the solution.
We sincerely hope the administration will consider these requests and take suitable steps for
the welfare and convenience of the students.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours faithfully,
BTech Batch (2023-27)
