much-awaited PSU LJHS Promenade 2025!
Both: I am Colville, and I am Yuri, and we are tonight’s masters of
ceremonies!
Colville: Yuri, you look stunning tonight. It is indeed an honor to
share the stage with you.
Yuri: Thank you, Colville! You're quite the charmer yourself.
Tonight, we have every reason to dress up for what promises to be a
wonderful experience!
Colville: I agree with you, I’m sure that all of us here
went out of our way to look as dazzling as possible for this very
special occasion.
Yuri: That’s right! It’s great to see our Juniors and Seniors in their
outfits. And might I say, everyone looks stunning tonight. The way
they’ve all embraced the theme with their outfits is truly
remarkable.
Caleb: Totally! The JS Prom surely marks a special event for
every student present this evening because it is considered
one of the most awaited highlights of high school life.
Yuri: I agree with you. As we savor every
moment of the night, we will try to make this experience
remarkable.
Colville: Absolutely! Now, it's time to kickstart this affair!
Yuri: To formally begin this program, we request Ms. Samantha
Angela F. Racaza, Grade 9 Board Member from 9 – Pitcher Plant, to
lead us in prayer.
Colville: Followed by the singing of the national anthem conducted
by__________, Mayor of 9-Palawan Cherry. Let’s all stand.
Colville: You may now be seated. To formally welcome us to this
spectacular night, let us call on Francine Marie Delera, Governor of
Grade 9, to deliver her opening remarks.
Yuri: Thank you, Marie, for your warm welcome. We hope your
words stay with us throughout the evening. We gather in celebration
tonight, dressed in our finest, to enjoy elegance, music, and dance.
Colville: LabHigh students are known for their talents and
unwavering commitment to excellence in academics, arts, and
athletics.
Yuri: As we take the dance floor, we invite you to embrace the spirit
of this occasion, to enjoy the sparkling atmosphere, and to create
memories that we will cherish forever. Let us enjoy this evening of
elegance and enchanting music.
Colville: Right! That’s why tonight we will witness everyone as we
showcase different dances of grace, poise, and projection.
Both: Everyone, we proudly present the Grades 9 and 10 students
of PSU LJHS in their cotillion!
Yuri: Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests. It is our pleasure to
introduce to you our beloved president of Palawan State University.
Colville: He is a distinguished academician and leader who
dedicated his career to promoting education and academic
excellence. He is the driving force behind the development of
Palawan State University, which is now recognized as one of the
premier institutions of higher learning in the region.
Yuri: Under his leadership, Palawan State University has reached
significant milestones in academics, research, extension,
production, and global collaborations. Please join us in welcoming
Dr. Ramon M. Docto as he delivers his Inspirational Message. Let’s
give him a warm round of applause!
Colville: Thank you President Docto for that inspiring message.
Again, let's give our University President a round of applause.
Yuri: As we move forward to this year's promenade, let us enjoy the
beauty of fine dining, etiquette, and class. Let us all stand up to

Colville: Let us enjoy both the delightful dinner and the company of
everyone, graciously served by our hospitable attendants.
Yuri: To continue this program, let us proceed to one of the
important highlights of our event… the Turnover Ceremony.
Colville: The turnover ceremony symbolizes the passing on of
responsibilities and duties to now upcoming Grade 10 students. This
will ensure that they are made ready with the responsibilities and
expectations of becoming the future Ates and Kuyas of LJHS.
Yuri: May we invite Mr._____________________________ - , The Grade
10 class governor, as he passes the Key of Responsibility to the
Grade 9 class __________________________________________.
Colville: To express their acceptance of the responsibility of being
a Grade 10 student and role model to the rest of the Laboratory
Junior High School, let us also call on stage Ms. – Grade 9 Class
Governor.
Yuri: Thank you, Governors -. Surely, we, in the Grade 9 class, are
ready to take on the responsibility of being Grade 10 students. The
next important highlight of our program is the Candle-lighting
ceremony.
Yuri: The candle lighting symbolizes hope and love. Just as our
dreams and aspirations continue to shine, so too can light be
reignited to guide us. To lead the Candle Lighting Ceremony, please
welcome our dedicated LJHS Principal, Prof. Editha B. Estrella!
Colville: After lighting our candles of hope, we now move to
another significant part of our event. This will confer what the
graduating class envisions to be their legacy and what they hope
their juniors to be and be able to do come next year.
Yuri: That’s right! So, without further ado, let us call on our one and
only SBG President, _________ as she delivers her Class Will and
Testament.
Colville: Thank you, President Nissi, and to our Seniors who
willingly bestowed upon the Juniors their Class will and testament.
We Juniors hope to do our best to nurture and uphold the willpower
of our Seniors.
Yuri: Yes, I truly believe that with the spark we have shown tonight,
we Juniors will not disappoint our seniors’ expectations. In a few
years, our Seniors will surely excel in their respective fields.
Colville: You're right, Yuri! At this moment, we will witness a
creative presentation from the Grade 10 class, reflecting their
aspirations and dreams. This short film tells the story of how
uncertainty plays a vital role in our journey to success. I know we
are all excited to see it!
Yuri: Let us all watch Viewing the Future, directed by our SBG
President, Ms. ________. Our viewing will be led by Grade 10 SBG
Vice President, Ms. ___________. Let’s give them a round of applause.
Yuri: Wow! Now that’s a very inspiring film! Do you agree? It
showcased the paths we may take—some will become doctors,
architects, engineers, and many more.
Colville: Aside from that, it also highlighted the importance of
immersing ourselves in the journey of self-discovery to truly
understand what we want in life. With that, we wish you success and
fulfillment in the future.
Yuri: I couldn’t agree more! Now, as we look forward to the
awarding ceremony, I’m sure everyone has their favorites. What
about you, Colvvile? Do you have a winner in mind?
Colville: Of Course! But for now, I choose not to name them yet.
How ‘bout you, Yuri?
Yuri: Yes indeed! I know many of us have been eyeing them as well
the whole night.
Colville: Are you now all ready for the Awarding Ceremony?

lifetime.
Yuri: Congratulations to the graduating batch of 2024, may our
future be filled with success, happiness, and fulfillment.

as if captured in the most unforgettable Hollywood scene
