 Dodging – moving quickly to avoid something
🌪 What is Storm Erika?
Tropical Storm Erika was a strong tropical storm.
It hit the island of Dominica on 27th August 2015.

🌧 What happened after Storm Erika?


 There was very heavy rain.
 Big floods and mudslides happened.
 Many houses were destroyed.
 Hundreds of people lost their homes.
 Some people died.
The island was badly damaged.

🌎 Where is Dominica
Dominica is a small island country in the Caribbean Sea.
It is near other Caribbean islands and is famous for its beautiful
forests and mountains.
