care). They study bills, talk

move forward before the
whole legislature votes on it.
Agriculture & Natural Resources
Committee
This group works on
topics about farming,
food, animals,
forests, water,
fishing, wildlife, and
mining. They also
help decide how some
state-owned land is
used and protected.
Appropriations (Operating Budget)
Committee
This group helps
decide how the
state spends
money each year.
They look at the
