providing one level of harmonic function (H.F.) analysis (T, PD, and D labels) beneath your Roman numerals, and (5) bracketing and labeling all
sequences by type. The recordings begin with a short progression to tonicize the key, followed by one measure of drum fill to set the tempo. Strive to

Study and rehearse Rogers & Ottman melody 12.14 (p. 183, 10th Edition), using fixed-do solfège.
Once you feel comfortable performing the melody, record a video of yourself conducting while you sing, and
upload it to the “Homework 8” location on Canvas.
Lastly, conclude your video by offering a brief self-reflection on the successes and challenges you
encountered while preparing the melody.
