ABSTRACT
Investment in development of food service technology is considered as luxury as the
sector comprises predominantly by small and medium size businesses that may not be able to
afford the heavy costs involved. However rapid innovative products or service. Such
hardware or software development enables food and beverage outlets to increase quality of
product, productivity and profitability.

INTRODUCTION
Currently, the restaurants are facing the problem of time which is consumed by the
typical process of order placing. The customer goes into the restaurant, then he does not know
whether there is seat available or not. After that, moreover, the waiter will come then order will
be placed this process is totally carried out by waiter so, it can cause any human errors. The
customers are more concerned about the service and hospitality of restaurants. This is one
important aspect where it can impact on business transaction. As from the observation, now a
day, some restaurants are providing phablets to the customer table. But this system still needs
human power and there is only one phablet so its time consuming.

LITERATURE SURVEY
Vo Nhu Thanh et al proposed the application of Restaurant Serving Robot with Double
line Sensors Following approach in 2019[1] by using the techniques of PID controller for stable
speed outcome and also Line reading algorithm where this results the robot can move stably and
accurately and has a solid structure stable travel speed, thereby mechanical structure is easy to
assemble and transport. The wheel of the robot is so small when moving to a bumper on the floor
it may food spilling, the movement of the robot when turning is not very smooth due to lack of
algorithm controller for tuning action, therefore the robot movement algorithm need some extra
implementation.
[Link] et al proposed an approach to develop system by introducing ZigBee
based E-Menu food ordering system in 2017[2] by using the ZigBee short range radio
communication technologies which results in modern and smart solution for menu ordering
method in any kind of restaurant and helps in reducing the staff number and fast service. The e-
menu food ordering system is based on software hardware platforms of Arduino (ATMegs 328p)
and using ZigBee short range radio communication technologies. The system is divided into two
sections one is handled section and the other is main section, both sections sonsists of ZigBee
transceivers. This system needs an up-dation of the E-Menu whenever the menu is changed.
